Marguerite created MoveToTacoma.com in 2015 as a resource as guide for folks looking for information about relocating to Tacoma, Washington (The city of Destiny!) In addition to being the premier site for useful information about neighborhoods and community in Tacoma, the site has grown into a successful podcast (which spawned an even more successful podcasting network, Channel253) and has convened community conversations (Adult Civics Happy Hour) as well as community and culture (such as the TacomaAF music series ). Marguerite has been recognized by the Tacoma Chamber of Commerce with the Popham Award. The Popham Award honors the individual in the City of Tacoma that has done the most to build community spirit.
